Onejoon Che lives and works in Seoul (South Korea). In 2005 he was awarded a degree in Philosophy and Media by the Kaywon School of Art and Design. In 2010 he received the Ilwoo Photography Prize by the Ilwoo Korean Airline Foundation (Seoul), in 2011 the 11^th Hermès Korea Art Prize (Seoul), and in 2012 the Artistic Creation Photoquai's Residencies Award, Quai Branly Museum (Total Foundation, Paris).

His work has been shown at the Taipei Biennial (2008), the Gwangju Design Biennial (2009), the Seoul Photo Festival (2010), at the Yebisu International Festival for Art&Alternative Visions, Tokyo Metropolitan Museum of Photography (2012) and most recently at the Palais de Tokyo, Paris (2012). His work was published in 2009, Geopolitics of the Visible, Noonbit Publishing.
