Tomás Maglione was born in 1985 in Buenos Aires, where he currently lives and works.
He has a communication degree (USAL). 
In 2012, he was part of a pilot program mentored by the Argentinian artist Jorge Macchi at the Torcuado Di Tella University and also participated in the Cinema Experimental Lab program directed by screenwriter, producer and film director Martín Rejtman.
In 2011 he received the Curriculum Cero Award  (established in 2002 by the Galeria Ruth Benzacar, Buenos Aires, this prestigious prize is a launching pad for encouragement to new talent).

He teaches collective video at the Liliana Maresca School Project, Buenos Aires.

Recent exhibitions and lectures include : Dia 1, Móvil Buenos Aires (2014), Bellos jueves, Museo Nacional de Bellas Artes (2014), Bad words, Residency Unlimited NYC (2013),  Worldaso at Galeria Ruth Benzacar (2012);  Principios Flexor, Gramatura, Sao Paulo (2012); Souvenirs From Earth, Centre Pompidou, Paris (2012) and Poetry Lecture at the Purr Library (2011), Buenos Aires.

In 2014, the editorial board Actividad de Uso made a book about his work.
