After his architectural studies at ETH Zurich, he was working with Robert Wilson in New York and attended a Master of Fine Art program at the Edinburgh College of Art and the Postgrad Year at the Princes Drawing School in London. In 2009/10, he was Fulbright Fellow at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Florian Graf questions the emotional and social relationship between people and architecture, working with constructed reality, imagination, facts, dreams and fears of people living in a house, a city or on a planet. For his projects, he uses drawings, photomontage, installation or performance. He was presented in solo shows including Art Chicago, Galleria Edizioni Periferia or Abbatiale de Bellelay and was widely shown in group exhibitions including the Moscow Museum of Modern Art, Glasgow Goethe Institut, Les Urbaines Lausanne, Zeppelin Museum, Shibukawa Art Institute, Pier Arts Centre or the Edinburgh Art Festival.
