The interest for the Sommerakademie 2012 curated by Marta Kuzma was enormous. The selection criteria were high artistic quality and a clear ability to connect with this year’s theme Tin Soldiers and Nixon Coming... The overall outstanding high standard of the 99 applicants out of 42 countries included 75 artists, 18 curators/art critics and 6 artist curators made it hard for the jury to take decisions.

Members of the Jury were:

Dr. Jacqueline Burckhardt, Director Sommerakademie im Zentrum Paul Klee
Sabina Lang, Board of Experts Sommerakademie im Zentrum Paul Klee
Marta Kuzma, Guest Curator Sommerakademie 2012
