Dieter Scholz

Dieter Scholz, born 1960 in Stuttgart. Studied art history and sociology in Tübingen and Hamburg. Master of Arts in Tübingen in 1988, doctorate in Frankfurt am Main 1994. Museum activities at the Staatlichen Museen in Berlin 1995-99 and in the museum kunst palast in Düsseldorf 1999-2003. Since September 2003 curator for the art of classical modernism at the New National Gallery in Berlin, until 2009 also responsible for the Museum Berggruen and the Scharf-Gerstenberg collection.
