Stella Rollig

Stella Rollig is the director of Lentos Kunstmuseum Linz. Since the mid 1980ies, she has worked as an author, art critic and curator based in Vienna. In 1994 as Austrian Federal curator for Fine Arts she founded Depot - art and discussion - a space that embodied her aims of redefining the art institution as a place of activity discourse and involvement. In 2000 she curated the exhibition <hers> Video as a female terrain as part of the Steirischer Herbst festival. 2003 / 2004 she has curated projects at the O.K Center for Contemporary Art, Linz, Austria. At Lentos, she has curated exhibitions and projects with, among others, Darren Almond, Monika Oechsler, Matt Mullican, Gottfried Helnwein, Edgar Arceneaux and Charles Gaines, Lois and Franziska Weinberger, Michaela Melián, Asta Gröting.
