Dr. Angelika Nollert, born 1966 in Duisburg, after training in a bank, studied history of art, archeology and German language and literature studies at the universities of Würzburg and Münster. After working at "sculpture projects münster" in Münster 1997, she was curator of the Portikus in Frankfurt am Main from 1997 to 2000. In 2001 she took over the project management of Documenta 11 in Kassel. From October 2002 to September 2007 she was project manager for Visual Arts at the Siemens Arts Program in Munich. Since October 2007 she has been the director of the New Museum - National Museum for Art and Design in Nuremberg.
