Stefan Kalmár

Stefan Kalmár is since 2009 executive director & curator of Artist’s Space, New York City and has held previous positions as director of Kunstverein München, director of the Institute of Visual Culture, Cambridge and curator of Cubitt Gallery, London. Exhibitions he has curated include The Secret Public, The last days of the British Underground 1978-1988 (2007), Institute for Contemporary Art, London; Oh Girl its a Boy (2007), Icestorm (2006), Three perspectives and a short scenario a retrospective of Liam Gillick in collaboration with Kunsthalle Zürich; MCA Chicago; Witte de With, Rotterdam and Cognition Control: From the Archive of Stephen Willats (2002), Institute of Visual Culture, Cambridge. He is also co-editor of Be Nice, Share Everything, Have Fun (Walter König, Köln, 2009).
