Yilmaz Dziewior
Dr. Yilmaz Dziewior, born in Bonn, studied art history and archaeology in Bonn and London. In 2005 he received his PhD in Berlin with a thesis on "Mies van der Rohe“. He is an art historian, author and curator. His articles appeared regularly in Artforum, Camera Austria and Texte zur Kunst. From 2001-2008 he was director of the Kunstverein Hamburg, at the same time lectured from 2003-2009 as a professor of art theory at the Hochschule der Bildenden Künste in Hamburg. Since 2007 he has been a member of the acquisition committee for the art collection of the Federal Republic of Germany. In October 2009 he took over the management of the Kunsthaus Bregenz.
